Operation Worship

Dear Reader,

Today I want to introduce to you an organization that honors and helps our military.
I do not know how it is to have a family member or a friend in military, but to have those honorable men fighting for our freedom is enough for me to want to say "Thank You."

·     Putting their lives on the line for freedom everyday
·     -for us

You are able to walk outside go to church, see family, friends etc. Because we have freedom. God have blessed us with freedom and with these men who put their lives on the line for it. We need to thank them for their incredible service to our country and the freedom that we have.

This is an organization where you could sign a Bible telling the soldier who is going to get it how much you appreciate his service and his honorable character. You could also buy a Bible and get it trough mail and sign and sent it yourself. If you want to get your friends, family, youth group involved you could purchase a box full of Bibles and sent them all signed by different people. Just think what a blessing it is to receive not only the hope in the Bible but your thanks.

Inside is His great Love....

Take a a minute right now and thank God for everything you have. I'm serious.
Did you?  You need to take that time everyday to thank Him.

I just spent some time writing  letters to  the children. The letters that could never fill what I want to do for them in Kazakhstan. Then the second letter telling about my faith to  my biological family that's still alive.  Even with 20% chance of making it to them, I have great hope and  with prayers it goes into the  mailbox.

Thanking God once again for everything He has given me and that He has saved me from sin. Oh what love, what  indescribable God. Without Him, I am nothing, with Him I will live for Him.

Psalm 75:1

We give thanks to you, O God,
we give thanks, for your Name is near
men tell of your wonderful deeds.

Psalm 95:1-2

Come let us sing for joy to the Lord;
let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before him with thanksgiving
and exolt him with music and song.

God's Adorable Creatures

Saw these and fell in love with all of them. I absolutely LOVE animals, and thought I would share this with you. God's  creation is astounding.

Those eye's those eyes....

Be Happy

Sweet...Dreams..

Psalm 19:1-4 The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night declares knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words; their voice is not heard; yet their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In the heavens he has set a tent for the sun,

Psalm 24:1-2 The earth is the LORD's and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it; for God has founded it on the seas, and established it on the rivers.

Unfolded Pride

My name is Pride, I am a cheater.
I cheat you of your God-giving destiny... because you demand
your own way.
I cheat you of contentment ... because you "deserve better  than this."
I cheat you of knowledge... because you already know it all.
I cheat you of healing... because you're to full of me to forgive.
I cheat you of holiness... because you refuse to admit when
you're wrong.
I cheat you of vision ... because you'd rather look in the mirror
than out the window.
I cheat you of genuine friendship ... because nobody's going to
know the real you.
I cheat you of love... because real romance demands sacrifice.
I cheat you of greatness in heaven ..... because you refuse to wash
another's feet on earth.
I cheat you of God's glory ... because I convince you to seek your own.
My name is Pride. I am a cheater.
You like me because you think I'm always looking out for you.
Untrue.
I am looking to make a fool of you.
God has so much for you, I admit, but don't worry... if you stick with me....
You'll never know.

The Task that Counts

-Do the most everyday and insignificant task knowing that God can see.

Doesn't that make you look at it differently?  Now, not only are you doing a task, but you are doing it for Christ. Not only your doing it for Christ you know it's no longer insignificant, now it has a purpose. If you know it or not, I could tell you right now that people observe you. Like when your sitting in an airport you observe people. Wondering where they are from, where they are going, what they are  doing.

If you live with difficult people win them with love. The things we do today-sowing seeds or sharing simple truths of Christ-people will refer as to as the things that prompted them to think of Him. I will be satisfied if when I die not to have a great big tombstone over my grave but in steed to have people gather there once  I'm gone and say "She never preformed any miracles, but she told me about Christ, which led me to know Him for myself."

Jesus must energize our service, He must be the focus.

I encourage you to be willing to be a voice that is heard but not seen, or a mirror whose glass the eye cannot see because it's reflecting Christ.

"Whatever you do,work at it with all your heart,as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." -Colossians 3:23-24

"For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing;"  - 2 Corinthians 2:15

"Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame."
Psalm 34:5

Day Encouragment

Life can become insanely busy with school, job, family, etc, the list can go on and on. Some days you wake up in the morning rushing to get as much done as possible for you know the day is about to get chaotic with  non-stop action. This might be your morning:    You  are   about to   get out  the door , you reach for the knob then you briefly stop...I forgot to do my devotional you think to yourself- "I really don't have time, it's already 8:30 a.m, I'll do it later, maybe after my chores."  or "Maybe a quick read (you scan over a verse feeling that at least you read something)"  You step out of your room and quickly notice a dirty wet dog on the floor, laying down in the kitchen, you become slightly irritated and angry that now not only you got your chores to do but clean the dog. The morning  passes by as different  chores and jobs come up that were not on the schedule. You finally loose it and storm of into your room, slamming the door behind you. You start thinking...Everything got in my way today..."  She realized  she didn't   read   from  God's word that morning. She bowed her head...."I     forgot  to put God first"  you sigh.

Don't walk our your door in the morning until you refresh and burst the light of Christ trough your soul. Putting God first into your day is challenging  and difficult at times, but take the time you have, maybe getting up a little bit earlier to  worship God, reading and reflecting His word. It seems to me that when I don't, my attitude  and my thoughts  are not centered on Christ. Taking that time of refreshment of His word is worth it. For  everything hat God gives and does in our life can we not take at least 15 to 30min praising Him and strive to obey His commandments?  If you don't know where to start, start with the beginning and read trough the Bible, soon enough you will get hooked and start discovering treasures that might transform your life.

" I love them that love me; and those that seek me diligently shall find me."
Proverbs 8:17
