"Love" for Lunch

Dear Readers,


   I would like to share with you a story that impacted me. When I was back in Kazakhstan, I went to have lunch with a girl I have told y'all about, Alexandra. Alexandra and her friend Sasha. She and her friend were quiet and shy, didn't talk much and if did only a few words. They were both Christian. We spent and hour with them and Dere. I was impacted. You may ask, how could you have been impacted by two people who didn't talk? They shined Christ through what they did during the lunch. They were shy, and they didn't start talking to us about Jesus and explaining the Gospel. They simply showed love. While food was brought they took care of us, they were concerned if we had everything we needed, wanting to serve us in any way they could. It wasn't the kind of service that was just for the thrill of having people from America there with them. It was the genuine love and care of others. They didn't have to talk to us to show Christ in their lives. 


   That's powerful! Often people just need to see the difference in you. I wanted to encourage each one of you to do the same. Sometimes we think that we show Jesus to others when we start talking deep about God, that great and  is a way if it leads to that, but don't stop because you don't talk, start because you can still make an impact. Every single day you are around people who are watching you, either it's your little brother or sister, a friend, or just people at a store, you are representing Christ wherever you are.

LITTLE DIMA'S RECOVERY IS REALLY AMAYZED THE DOCTOR   AS WE VISITED THE DOCTOR TODAY  AND  DIMA WILL BE WEARING  EYE GLASSES  IN ABOUT A  WEEK TIME    AFTER  A COMPETE  HEALING OF THE   CORRECTED EYE.  APPRECIATE  YOU CONSIDERING IN  BLESSING HIM  IN COVERING  THE COST OF  PAIRS OF EYE GLASSES  85USD 

.THE TEMPERATURES  GETS VERY COLD  BIG TIME  IT WAS HOLDING BELOW 30 THE PAST WEEK .

 

                      WILL   START GIVING OUT  SOON  THE WINTER CLOTH BUYING LOCALLY THE CLOTH  AND THE RECENTLY RECEIVED BLANKETS ....WE ARE AT A MARK OF 950USD  OF THE 1400USD NEEDED FOR ADLE'S OPERATION AND  SO FAR 150USD  CAME  AS OF 800USD NEEDED FOR  ALISHER'S  OPERATION . 

 

   OVER THE WEEKEND GOT A CHANCE TO TAKE SOME  ORPHANS   TO THE NEAR BY  MOUNTAINS BREATH TAKING BEAUTY ,IT IS PART OF THE  MENTORING  PROGRAMME  APPRECIATE YOUR PRAYER FOR WISDOM  AND LORD'S  PROTECTION AS THE KIDS  CONTINUE TO HEAR THE WORD OF GOD. 

 

A SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST  SIMBAT  12  AND ORPHAN SHE CAME TO LIVE IN THE ORPHANAGE 2 YRS AGO  AFTER THE DEATH OF HER MOM  HER MOM USED TO BE A BELIVER  AND  SIMBAT GROW UP  READING IN A DAILY BASE  THE BIBLE HER MOM WAS THE  FIRST WAVE OF KAZAKH BELIVERS  RIGHT AFTER THE  BREAK UP OF THE SOVIET UNION ,FINDING OUT  ALL THIS FROM A  FAMILY  FRIEND  FRIDA WHO HAPPNED TO VISIT  SIMBAT, FARIDA I THINK  IN HER EARLY 50S AT TIMES COMES TO VISIT  SIMBAT .

 

LAST WEEK SIMBAT GETS IN TO GREAT  PROBLEM  IN THE  MORNING AS SHE RESITE  PSALM 91  AND  SHE  KNOWS BY HEAR  MANY  CHAPTERS OF THE BIBILE, THAT  SPECIFUC MORNING A BIT  LATE WAKE UP AND  MISSED THE BREAKFAST AND  THEGROUP CARE GIVER SCOLDS HER  AND  OPENLY  SAID SHE HATE HER ,TELLING HER  YOU ARE A TRAITER  CHANGING YOUR ISLAMIC FAITH .TOLD ME THE WHOLE SITUATION SIMBAT AND THE VISITING  FRIEND FARIDA     DEARLY APPRECIATE YOUR PRAYER FOR  SIMBAT IN THIS  VERY SENSETIVE SITUATION.

Update on Dima

GREETINGS TO ALL,

JUST A BRIEF UPDATE ON DIMA:  TODAY THE OPERATION STARTED AT 9 AM AND AFTER OVER THREE HOURS HE WAS TRANSFERRED TO A RECOVERY ROOM WHERE HE GOT REST AS HE GOT BACK TO CONSCIOUSNESS.  IT SEEMS HE IS DOING VERY WELL .WE WILL BRING HIM BACK TO THE ORPHANAGE LATER IN THE DAY AND TOMORROW GO BACK TO THE HOSPITAL FOR FOLLOW UP.   APPRECIATE YOUR PRAYERS.

Update from Missionary in Kazakhstan

STARTING THE MESSAGE  LIKE US TO READ FROM THE WORD OF GOD.

Dt 10:17

For the LORD your God is God of gods ^o and Lord of lords, ^p the great God, mighty and awesome, ^q who shows no partiality ^rand accepts no bribes. ^s

Dt 10:18

He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, ^t and loves the alien, giving him food and clothing. ^u

Dt 10:19

And you are to love ^v those who are aliens, ^w for you yourselves were aliens in Egypt. ^x

Dt 10:20

Fear the LORD your God and serve him. ^y Hold fast ^z to him and take your oaths in his name. ^a

HOW TRUE IT IS  INDEED  OUR LORD IS  A GOD WHO IS ABLE!!!!!

 

 

 

 

BELOW IS SOME UPDATE FOR THIS PAST WEEK

 

GREETINGS TO ALL,

THIS WEEK HAS BEEN FULL OF EVENTS AND THE SUDDEN IRRITATION OF ALSHER'S EYE AND TAKING HIM FOR EYE CHECKUP TURNED OUT TO BE A SERIOUS ONE.  THE MEDICAL TERM FOR THE CONDITION IS PTERYGIUM - A GROWING OUT OF A SCALE, MEATY LIKE TISSUE OVER THE SURFACE OF THE EYE.  THE EYE CLINIC SAID THEY COULD DO A SURGERY USING A PROCEDURE  CALLED CONJUNCTIVE GRAF WHICH LESSENS THE CHANCE OF RECURRENCE.  THEY TOLD ME THE OPERATION WOULD COST 2400USD.  I FELT THAT I NEEDED TO TALK TO THE DIRECTOR OF THE EYE HOSPITAL AND A MEETING WAS SCHEDULED YESTERDAY FRIDAY 9. AM AND AFTER THE TALK THEY AGREED TO CHARGE ONLY ONE THIRD OF THE COST.  I THANK THE LORD FOR THIS PROVISION AND FOR THE COMPASSION OF THE DIRECTOR. 

ANOTHER THING IS THE PLANNING FOR THE EYE OPERATION FOR DIMA ON WEDNESDAY.  WE ARE FINALISING COLLECTING ALL THE REQUIRED TESTS RESULTS.   BUT AS FOR ADEL, THE REQUIRED FUNDS HAVE NOT YET COME IN: SO FAR 850USD OUT OF 1400 NEEDED; WE  WILL HAVE TO POSTPONE HIS SURGERY TO THE DOCTOR'S NEXT VISIT.
